How to Unlock Chaos Gate Events in Lost Arks
If you open the Procyon Compass (icon just below your minimap) after completing the main Lost Ark storyline, it will tell you that Chaos Gates becomes available at level 50. If your level isn't high enough yet, continue doing world quests. and participate in other endgame activities (ghost ships, field bosses) until you're ready.
Lost Ark Chaos Door Location
To find a Chaos Gate location, simply click on the "appearance notification information" button in Procyon's compass and hover over the list of upcoming available Chaos Gates. You will see the following four names:
- Chaos Legion Twist
- Dark Legion Twist
- Plague Legion Twist
- Phantom Legion Twist
Instead of focusing on the name, research the required item level and choose a Chaos Gate that matches your character. Also, since Chaos Gates appear randomly, take a look at the schedule. If there is no Chaos Gate scheduled for today, try again tomorrow.
To find the location of Chaos Gate, click on the small compass icon next to the name. This will open a map of the region. One of the smaller card slots will light up for a moment; this is where you will find the location of Chaos Gate. You can already fast travel through the area, but the exact spawn point is only announced when there are less than ten minutes until the event starts.

Chaos Gate events are pretty straightforward. This quick overview is about the Chaos Gate from Twisting Phantom Legion, but its fellow Darkness, Plague, and Chaos are pretty much the same.
- Go to the Chaos Gate location and be ready to enter as soon as it appears. Chaos Gates is popular, but there's only room for 30 players. Try to be quick.
- You will be transported to the Ghostlands . There is a very short cutscene in which Kokuril, the boss of Twisting Phantom Legion, calls you a weak and insane mortal. Your goal is to knock it down within twenty minutes (timer in the upper left corner).
- Break the obstacles and simply kill all the enemies in your way. Stay in the group at all times. After battling mini-bosses, you will soon encounter Kokuril.
- When the boss is down, collect the loot! You can participate in the loot auction if you wish. As mentioned earlier, secret cards are highly sought after, and bids often go up to a few thousand gold.

- As always, bring Phoenix Plumes for an instant resurrection. Lots of healing potions too.
- If you experience lag or just don't want your screen flooded with player names and HP bars, you can disable this option in your settings.
- Are there more than 30 players waiting for the Chaos Gate? Then you have to act fast if you want to get in. Camp in front of the Gate, close your chat window (this is important), and click 'G' followed by 'enter' as soon as the Chao Gate appears.
- Are there less than 30 players? In this case, ask people to join the chat. It's best not to enter with a small group, as you probably won't survive a 30-player event.
