Chubb offers insurance against trolls
You can now opt out of a troll insurance policy , designed to help those who are victims of cyberbullying or online harassment. UK insurer Chubb Insurance is offering the policy to its UK client, with policyholders able to claim up to £50,000 ($75,000) following serious misuse.
This money can be spent on professional counseling services, relocating as a result of online harassment, and/or paying for time away from work. Chubb Insurance considers cyberbullying as "three or more acts by the same person or group to harass, threaten or intimidate a customer."
Tara Parchment of Chubb Insurance said:
“We believe that insurance helps our customers get back to where they are – whether it's an incident that affects their home or as a person. So we're still helping to restore homes, cars and personal effects that have suffered physical damage, but increasingly it's about the person and how they recover.
Although cyberbullying is clearly a serious problem, the number of people affected to the point where they would need to purchase insurance is extremely low. After all, Chubb Insurance won't pay out on just one mildly rude tweet. Which makes us wonder if this isn't an epic trolling game on its own. Oh the irony.
YouTube launches Trending tab
YouTube has added a Trending tab to its website and Android and iOS apps. This is designed to showcase viral videos before they go viral, or, as YouTube puts it, "As they take off." If used daily, it could help you be the first to share your future viral videos with your friends and family.
It's surprisingly difficult to determine which videos are likely to go viral and which are meant to be blocked and only garner a handful of views. However, YouTube thinks it's got it all figured out, and being included in the Trending tab will only increase a video's chances of going viral.
This may be the key behind it all. YouTube suggests the new Trending tab is "the best way to catch the videos, creators, and trends people watch, share, and talk about every day." So what's stopping YouTube from promoting the videos, creators, and trends it deems worthy above those it cares less about?
Play PS4 online for free this weekend
PlayStation 4 owners who haven't yet subscribed to PlayStation Plus can experience the thrill of online gaming for free this weekend . Starting today (December 11) until the end of Sunday (December 13), all PS4 players can enjoy online multiplayer modes of their favorite games.
In previous generations, Sony offered online games for free, but that all changed with the PS4. However, since a PlayStation Plus membership also entitles you to free games each month, most people are happy to pay. This weekend is for the holdouts, who are likely to find out exactly what they're missing.

Serial , the podcast that captured everyone's imagination last year, is back with a second season. Spanning 12 episodes, Season 1 investigated the death of Hae Min Lee. Season 2 investigates the disappearance of Bowe Bergdahl , an American soldier held captive for five years by the Taliban.
The first season of Serial has been downloaded 68 million times to date, and the second season is expected to be just as popular. This popularity means that the Serial website is struggling to keep up with demand, so you may have to keep trying to download the first episode. Watch Star Wars Battlefront in 4K
And finally, while Star Wars Battlefront garnered mixed reviews due to its lack of size and variety, everyone agrees it's visually stunning. And yet, it proves possible to make Star Wars Battlefront look even more impressive, with just one mod and a powerful gaming PC.
